Whilst this answer varies from plot to plot, typically, a tiny home that is under 3.05m (without the loft) is considered a mobile home just like a caravan structure. Our homes are built independently from the trailer, therefore you can opt for groundscrews, concrete bases and even floating devices for lakes! Amazing! Of course, we also offer bespoke trailer chassis for those that do prefer their home on wheels!
For water and electric, you can connect via a food grade hose to a water connection followed by the use of a soakaway system. For electricity, you can power yourself with solar (you may need additional support in the winter) or you can contact the grid to create a new connection.

Each county and district council is different across the country. Typically most councils do not know what a tiny home is, so we always recommend using words that they are familiar with such as mobile home, lodge or caravan. We would recommend calling your local council for advice to see what the planning laws are for caravans in your area.

Yes! They are extremely novel and work very well as a holiday home. We would recommend mentioning on advertisements if you have a loft tiny home to ensure those with limited ability understand where the bedroom is located!
